Melbourne, Feb 27 (ANI): A sex-party organised as a promotion at a nudist resort in Mossman, north of Cairns, has seen about 250 nudists heading to it.
“We’ve effectively sold out,” News.com.au quoted resort owner Tony Fox, who revealed guests were from interstate or overseas, as saying.
“It''''s a totally clothing optional, adults only month with almost no rules applicable. Provided it doesn''''t constitute a breach of the Australian law, they (guests) are welcome to do anything,” he said.
Fox said that no illegal drugs and cameras will be allowed, and he also revealed that the flesh-baring bash would put in at least 500,000 dollars into the town''''s economy.
The month long party has not met with any opposition, except the ones made by some religious leaders.
“Most people understand that with this level of business, they''''ll get a slice of the pie,” he said.
“This is a half-million-dollar month for the town. The reality is, we''''ve come up against zero opposition,” he stated.
Port Douglas Daintree Tourism executive officer Doug Ryan said that the White Cockatoo''''s promotion would help the industry during a soft season.
“If it''''s legal and it works, do it,” he said.
Fox also claimed that there would be 24-hour security and surveillance cameras at the resort, protecting guests from the prying eyes of the public. (ANI)
